Privacy Policy

This page explains what Ada AI collects when you visit ada.ai, use the dashboard, or send requests through the API, and what we do with it.

Who is responsible

Ada AI operates the website, dashboard, and API. For anything about your data, write to hello@ada.ai.

The website

The public pages on ada.ai use a first-party page-view counter. It records the page, the referrer’s host, and a hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day, so a visit cannot be linked across days. It sets no cookie. If you arrive from a campaign link, the first landing page and its campaign parameters are kept in your browser’s local storage and sent to us once, only if you later create an account. We may also use PostHog for page-view counts; when enabled it runs without cookies and without session recording.

Your account

When you sign up we store your email address, your name if you give one, your organisation memberships, and the API keys you create (hashed; the plaintext is shown to you once). Sign-in uses email-based authentication provided by a third-party identity service. Billing, where used, is handled by Stripe; we store a reference to your Stripe customer, not your card details.

API requests

Each request through the API produces an operational record: timestamp, model requested and resolved, upstream used, token counts, latency, status, and any error message returned by the provider. These records power your usage and events pages and our reliability work. The content of prompts and completions is sent to the provider you configured and is not stored as a matter of course; it is not used to train models by us. Files and documents you upload to a workspace are stored deliberately, for you, and are deleted when you delete them or your account.

Who else sees data

  • Model providers you route to (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) receive the content of the requests you send them, under their own terms.
  • Google Cloud hosts the service in the European Union.
  • Stripe processes payments.
  • PostHog, when enabled, receives anonymous page-view counts for the public site.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. Request records are kept for as long as they are needed to show usage history and investigate reliability problems, then aggregated or deleted. Website page-view records are only linkable within a single day.

Your rights

You can see and change your account details in the dashboard, revoke keys, delete workspace files, and ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live you may have further rights to access, correct, export, or erase personal data, or to object to its processing. Email hello@ada.ai and we will respond.

Changes

We will post updates to this policy here with a new date. The service terms are on the Terms page.
